Sitting in with the HOME fans at AWAY matches
I see Mad Dog is doing it at OT, I have been offered 4 for WBA v WH in the HOME end and 4 for Southampton v WH in the HOME end by a contractor.

Still don't know if I could sit in the "other" end while watching our boys.

What would the good and great of WHO do? (including Eerie Descent).

Oh and I also sat in with the Pompey fans same season. Generally a good bunch and some good BANTS. We won 0-1 I think, a pen, shit game. I reckon Pompey fans are alright, been through the fucking mill and still turn up in decent numbers.

Claret on my shirt

I did it at the Reading match as well. I was behaving myself but then fucking let rip when Jimmy Kebe pulled his socks up right in front of me and when Jack got sent off I got a few people laughing at me, but that was it. Lamest supporters ever.

Re: Sitting in with the HOME fans at AWAY matches
I did it at Reading the year we were in the Championship. Opposite end to us and apart from singing i shouted when we had chances, slagged Reading off etc etc and no one said a word, it was hilarious that not one Reading fan did anything. It was also weird listening to West Ham fans from the other end of the ground. I don't go to alot of away games these days and on TV we're loud but you don't actually realize how loud we are until your in the ground at the other end.

Also seems a bit pointless to travel half way across the country to Spend the weekend visiting my mate only to not spend half the day with him.

And as I said earlier. I'm not good arty sitting on my hands. I always get rumbled because I can't keep schtum.

W4hammer. I have several friends around the country that support different teams. We go to the game and then get on the beers.

And we do the same at the boleyn for the return game
___

same here - we have a beer at the ground, go our seperate ways for the game and meet up afters. dont understand why you'd want to sit with them and sit on your hands and vice versa...

Re: Sitting in with the HOME fans at AWAY matches
Did this at Stamford Bridge in their West Stand with a good pal who's Chelsea and some other lads.

The locals twigged I was WHU early on, but all was well until Paul Kitson scored, I jumped up and it all went off.

Got kicked out, but they left me outside and as my mates didn't follow, I went down a block and walked back into the ground and down the front where it I could see it was still going off, so I walked back along just as it was dying down only to be clocked by the same Chelsea lads who rared up in the first place, and it all went off again.

Consequently, I was chucked out again by the same steward who had to have a double take as he'd bombed me out ten minutes earlier...

Bombed out twice in approximately 15 minutes, got to be some sort of record...

Didn't cover myself in glory that day, never again...

Did it at Coventry away in the Cup, they just put a few of us back in with the West Ham fans, some grounds aren't so reasonable

If you do do it, and you don't end up taking the end, you ain't West Ham.

Done it at Highbury, White Hart Lane and Vicarage Road. Funnily enough it was only at Watford where it got a bit hairy.

I sat in the home end for Sunderland away when we were in the Championship. We won 2-0 with goals from Harewood and Sheringham.

I enjoyed it.

cant see the point of this unless its something like a cup final that you cant get a ticket for.

Cheap, provocative and very unfulfilling- why do it?
